The event is organised every year by Phil
Housden of Cheriton. Now in its 18th year Phil is
looking forward to seeing his young sons play for Cheriton
after the Olympics in 2012.

The 6s are a key part of the annual bank
holiday weekend Flower Pots Beer Festival, conveniently
located opposite the ground, where 30 plus real ales, live
music, all day BBQ, and curry tent.
There will be hot air balloons this
year Mid Hants Balloon Club.
Normally they take off around 6pm (and 6am if the weather is
good)

For families with young children, please note
that there is a playground on site and that there is nearly
continuous cricket! Please keep an eye on your
children, so that they do not interfere with play or endanger
themselves.

The teas are prepared by the ladies of
the Cheriton Cricket Club.
There could be some scrummy: Coffee, Carrot,
Fruit, Lemon Drizzle, Lemon Sponge cakes.

Our groundsman Digger (Paul Greenwood) and his
trusty groundsmen will prepare 3 strips for the day.
Lets hope the roller does not conk out in the outfield
this year.

The scorers are donated by the teams. I
remember Greg, Lisa, Marion from previous years.

The umpires are likely to be Mike Cornter, John
Housden, Paul Rayworth, Dane Batt.
